Initial site visit & garden consultation – $150
We’ll start by scheduling an on-site garden consultation so you can share your goals and show us the space(s) where you’d like us to work. While there, we’ll take photos and measurements.
Garden design coaching – $150/hour
Want to create and install your own garden design but don’t quite know what’s in your yard, how to get started, or what your options might be? Pick our brains for an hour or two and leave with ideas and recommendations to help you take the next steps on your own. Take your own notes, or for an extra $150 we’ll send you our notes from the session.
Hand-drawn garden design – Pricing depends on project
We’ll let you know up front, after the initial consultation, what your total design fee will be. The initial site visit fee is credited for any clients who hire us for design work. Designs for urban lots tend to cost around $1,200 – $3,600. Total design fee is based on project size and complexity and is due at the design presentation. After purchasing the design clients can choose to implement it themselves or hire Hothouse Horticulture to install it.
Design installation – Pricing depends on project
As with the design fee, you’ll have a transparent estimate up front. In most cases, one-third of the payment is due at scheduling, one-third at the start of work, and the remainder at completion of the job. If changes are requested during installation, we use change orders if project pricing will be impacted.
Perennial garden maintenance – Pricing depends on project
We offer experienced organic perennial garden maintenance. Total fee to be agreed upon before work begins and is due the day work is done.
